Canva is the ultimate design tool for non-designers. It’s user-friendly and the free version gives you access to most features. Use Canva to create shareable social media images, cover photos, even video thumbnails. In no time, you'll be on your way to building a memorable online brand.

Adobe

Lightroom is photo management and photo editing, combined into a single tool. It is more complex to use but if you are a photographer (or want to start) Adobe Lightroom is a must-have on your desktop. They also have the mobile version so you can import, manage and edit your files. This app is not free but they have a 14 day trial.

Vimeo

Create beautiful videos with pre-loaded, high-performance videos from the library and with other marketing tools. Vimeo helps you review, distribute, and measure how your video goes viral. Vimeo offers a basic free plan, but users do not have access to stock media, certain templates styles, and your videos have the Vimeo watermark.

Wix

Wix is user-friendly and makes it possible to build a professional website without knowing how to code. In the Wix Editor, you can drag and drop any feature you need. It offers a free version, but if you want to connect your own domain you need to upgrade to the premium version (totally worth it)

Wordpress

You can create a free website or build a blog with ease. It has a drag and drop feature with dozens of free, customizable, mobile-ready designs and themes. There are two versions of WordPress .org and .com Although the .org is a free content management system you will need a paid hosting service, the second one (.com), has the hosting included in the plan.

If you are planning (or already have a small business) to sell online, Weebly is part of the Square product suite, meaning, you can take your business on the go and accept payments enywhere.
